 Keep communications in the WorkStream

There is a messaging tool in your dashboard to keep track of all communications connected with a particular project. A WorkStream is created when you first start communicating with a Freelancer. The WorkStream is an important record to refer back to, in the unlikely event of a dispute. This is also vital in enabling WORKAFORCE support to resolve a Dispute with a Freelancer. WORKAFORCE support uses the WorkStream as the sole indisputable evidence to determine a fair outcome.

Depositing funds in Escrow

We provide an Escrow system to help protect buyers and Freelancers alike.  The Escrow system enables a buyer to deposit funds at the start of a project so that a freelancer will have the confidence to start work and also, a buyer would not have to risk paying any money upfront. Funds are only released to the freelancer by the buyer when fully satisfied that the project has been completed.

Payment for Project Done

Escrow payment is released to a freelancer when a work has been completed and delivered. Once you are satisfied with the job and you have confirm that the job was completed, then payment is made to the freelancer by releasing funds in Escrow.

Always pay through Workaforce

Payments outside of WORKAFORCE is against our terms and conditions and leaves you unprotected. WORKAFORCE cannot provide any assistance for projects payments made outside of WORKAFORCE.

  1. Selling Your Services Safely as a Freelancer

Vet All Projects Carefully

If a project pay is amazing and you have to do very little in return, it will be safe if you carefully consider it properly before applying. Also be cautious of any buyer requesting that you send free samples of work or suggesting free trials with a promise of larger work; if the samples in your portfolio aren’t sufficient then ensure to always send your samples via the WorkStream with suitable watermarks or in low resolution (if applicable).

Ensure sufficient funds are deposited in Escrow before you begin work

Our Escrow system helps to protect both buyers and freelancers. A buyer must deposit funds at the start of a project so that a Freelancer can start work and also, a buyer does not have to risk paying money upfront.

Freelancers are encouraged to always ensure that there are funds in Escrow before they start any work, or at least before handing over deliverables, particularly for new buyers.
